June 24 statutory holiday

  • John the Baptiste Day celebrates the Province of Quebec’s patron and is a statutory holiday in Quebec. Many stores, including shopping mall, banks and SAQ (Quebec’s liquor stores) will be closed on June 24. If you are planning to shop on that day, check with the hotel staff as to what is open.
  • Some stores will also be closed on Friday, June 23 or Monday, June 26.
